This base was a great thickness and feel, although it was more orange yellow than expected. I was hoping it was more of a true yellow. Despite the colore being slightly different, It shaped up well and holds the shape you form it to very well. I created a fedora with a skull shaped crown and it held the skull shape pretty good with only steam and heat.

The package was smaller than I expected, but after mixing it with alcohol it looks like it will make enough shellac to treat several hats. It mixes well and stays in solution with no issues.
